The Mittler Bros. Rear-End Narrowing Kit with 72″ Shaft is the complete precision tool kit for narrowing rear-end housings for racing and street rod applications. A 1-1/2″ x 72″ turned, ground, and polished lineup bar passes through the trimmed rear-end housing and inner bearing blocks, assuring accurate, true, and square reinstallation of the housing ends — every time.
The 72″ shaft version is the longer of the two available kits, providing extra reach for wider rear-end housings and more demanding narrowing applications. Compatible with Ford 8″, Ford 8.8″, Ford 9″, Dana 44, Dana 60, 10-bolt GM, 12-bolt GM, and 8-3/4″ Chrysler rear ends. Everything you need is included — jig shaft, inner pucks, outer blocks, and pinion centering plate. Made in the USA.
