The Mittler Bros. 1/8″ Bronze Vent Fitting is a replacement or spare vent fitting for rear-end housing vent applications. Made from bronze for corrosion resistance and durability, it threads directly into any 1/8″ NPT weld bung to provide pressure equalization as gear oil heats up during operation — preventing seal blow-out and fluid leaks caused by heat-driven pressure buildup inside the housing.
This is the vent fitting only — no weld bung included. Use it as a replacement for a lost or damaged fitting, or as a spare to keep on hand for race day. Compatible with the Mittler Bros. 1/8″ Vent Bung & Fitting assembly (SKU 1000-340) and any standard 1/8″ NPT weld bung. Made in the USA.
