If you have reservations about using a skew chisel on your small turning projects, the Sorby Micro Spindlemaster is the answer. It has no corners to catch and dig in, and it planes, beads, coves and trims end grain with a polished bevel that leaves a superb finish from the tool, especially on softer woods. The 10″ long Micro Spindlemaster is ideal for small projects like boxes, rattles and turned pens but also can work on larger pieces.
