Gransfors’ Splitting Hatchet has a 2.2 lb. head with a 2-1/2 inch face and a 19 inch textured hickory handle. It is ideal for splitting kindling & smallish stove wood, and can be used one-handed or two-handed. A steel collar beneath the head reinforces the handle against impact with the wood.
