They are compatible with most types of topcoats, including oil, water, and solvent-based finishes, varnishes and lacquers.

The stain can be applied using a wiping cloth, brush, applicator, or a sprayer. After stirring well, apply a generous amount of stain to the surface and allow several minutes for it to penetrate, then wipe off the excess stain evenly with a clean, dry cloth. To darken the color a second coat may be applied. Depending on conditions, drying time before top coating is 6to 72 hours.
