An error of only a fraction of a degree can amount to unsightlygaps in the corners of mitered boxes and frames. iGAGING’s EZ Digital MiterGauge solves the problem with digital precision to 1/10th of adegree, and its 18-inch miter bar with adjustable spring plungers fits standardT-slots perfectly, eliminating play while retaining smooth sliding.
This miter gauge has an easy-to-read digital display, is constructed frommachined aluminum, and is suitable for square crosscuts and acute or obtuseangles up to 70°. A cursor helps quickly find the approximate angle location, while the easy-to-read digital display enables fine-tuning to 1/10th of adegree.
The miter gauge head is semicircular with a spring-loaded pushhandle, which rotates to clamp the head at the correct angle. The unit canattach to an optional 18” or 24” precision extruded aluminum fence with three 1/4”T-slots on the front and back faces and one on the top and bottom. Using thecenter T-slot on the back face, the miter head can quickly attach to the aluminumfence at any point. An included 19” or 25” x ½” sacrificial wood face attachesto a T-slot on the front of the aluminum fence to provide zero-clearance support for breakout-free joinery cuts. For perfect cut repeatability, a provided flip-down stop attaches to the top of the T-slot.
The miter head unit requires a standard 2032 battery andpowers up instantly with a press of the on/off button. There is also a zerobutton for calibration and a hold/flip button. The display turns off after 5minutes to prolong battery life.
The iGAGING EZ Digital Miter Gauge is a well-thought-out mitergauge that offers precise digital accuracy, an optional precision aluminumfence with a sacrificial wood face, and a flip stop for repeatable cuts, all atan affordable price. Order yours today.
