As tool is sanding, its flexible and non-marring Vacuum Shroud which is constructed of high-quality clear urethane, captures dust, debris and contaminants (including Hexavalent Chromium) to external vacuum source, shroud brush assists in capture of airborne contaminants – ensuring cleaner, safer workplace. This tool includes Backing Pad (51150) which has a 5″ (127 mm) diameter, plus mounting hardware. Accepts optional 5″ (127 mm) diameter Abrasive Discs with 7/8″ (22 mm) center hole. Featuring a robust, governor-controlled 1.3 hp (970 W) air motor, this tool includes conductive Hose & Cuffs, to shield operator from electrostatic discharge (ESD). Swivel Cuff (96004) improves maneuverability! Tool housing and handle are made of solid cast aluminum. Insulated throttle handle reduces cold air transmission. Vacuum Shroud angle ensures ideal surface contact for maximum debris extraction. 3/4″ (19 mm) high Shroud Brush (50582) assists in capture of airborne contaminants.
