The Mittler Bros. 5/8″ Round Forming Die Set creates a clean, embossed circular dome in sheet metal — adding both strength and visual interest without punching through the material. Unlike a punch & flare tool, the forming die displaces and forms the metal in place, leaving a smooth raised boss on one side and a recessed circle on the other. A simple, fast way to stiffen panels and add a professional fabricated look.
Includes both the male and female dies. The formed dimension is approximately 3/8″ larger than the listed size — a 5/8″ die produces an embossed form approximately 1″ in diameter. Rated for 16 gauge mild steel, 14 gauge aluminum, and 19 gauge stainless steel. Works best in the Mittler Bros. bench press. Bench/Louver Press sold separately.
