The Mittler Bros. 1-1/4″ x 2″ Oval Punch & Flare Tool creates a smooth, clean oval hole with or without a finished flare — in a single press stroke. Drill two alignment pin pilot holes using the included drill template, place the tooling and panel in your press, and stroke — the result is a precisely sized 1-1/4″ x 2″ oval hole with an approximately 1/4″ flare around the perimeter.
Oval holes add a distinctive fabricated look to race car body panels, dash panels, floors, and custom sheet metal work that round holes simply can’t match. Use it with the flare ring installed for the full flared oval, or remove the flare ring to punch a clean oval hole only. Requires the Universal Press Block (SKU 1325-001, sold separately). Works in the Mittler Bros. 3, 5, or 10-ton Bench Press. Precision machined from heat-treated tool steel to a Rockwell hardness of 58 for long service life. Made in the USA.
